Background

Lower Mid RawaKhola Hydropower Project (LMRKHPP) was identified by a team of professionals and hydropower experts on March 2018. The client acquired the Survey License from Department of Electricity Development (DoED) on 29th Chaitra 2074. Technoquarry Consults Private Limited (TQC) has undertaken the Detailed Feasibility Study and preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for LMRKHPP under a contract agreement with the Client.

The Lower Mid Rawakhola Hydropower Project Limited helds project Tallo Madhya Rawakhola Jalbidhyut Aayojana (4.0 MW), which is located at Aiselukharka Rural Municipality Ward no.1, Khotang, Nepal. The project is situated along the Rawakhola River, a significant tributary of the Dudh Koshi River, approximately 263 km east of Kathmandu.

The project area is accessible from Kathmandu through approximately 245 km of bituminous road up to Hurlung, followed by approximately 18 km of gravel road to the project area.
