Project Overview

Lower Mid Rawakhola Hydropower Project (LMRKHPP) is a run-of-the-river hydropower project located in Rakha Bangdel and Sapteswor of Khotang District, Koshi Province, Nepal. The project operates with a net head of 122.93 m and features an installed capacity of 4.00 MW.

Its estimated annual energy generation is 24.08 GWh, which includes 3.62 GWh of dry energy. The project is being developed under the BOOT (Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer) mechanism. Generated power is planned to be evacuated through the under-construction Baghshila Substation via an approximately 7 km, 33 kV transmission line.
